Windows XP install part 5Step 5: Formatting the partition can take several minutes or more, depending on the size of your computer’s hard drive. When the progress bar at the bottom reaches “100%”, the process is complete.
After the formatting is finished, Setup will automatically begin to copy the installation files to your computer. This will also take a few minutes, and be complete when the progress bar reaches “100%”.
