Will todays computers be the same in the future?
Todays computers
After these possible changes that will change the style of todays computers, we still don’t know what kind of storage devices we will be using in our future.
Weather it will be the same as that of todays?
More advanced, or completely different?
Today we are using magnetic storage devices for storage purposes. Which is a little slow compared to the increasing speed of processors.
This technology will be available for at least the next decade. This means it will take more time to replace.
So the question that rises is “what will be the replacement of this device”.
The answer could well be Holographic Storage!
In this technology the data could be stored and read with the help of 3-D technology with the help of a powerful laser.
The quantity of data that will be stored will be a million times greater than today’s technology.
This technology is very slowly being introduced, for commercial purposes it will take at least 8 to 12 years to become available.
In the future we will be using 100’s of microprocessors in our houses for our basic uses.
Computers will be available in every room, unlike todays computers, they will be in the kitchen, in the bathroom, everywhere.
We may be able to talk with a person who is in New York like they are next to us, but not physically.
I don’t mean that we will be chatting the same as we are chatting with a person on the Internet today.
The concept is to say that we can feel the person with who we are chatting, with the help of some sort of 3-D screen technology. This will result in two people talking to each other like they are sitting next to each other.
It may be possible in the future that an English speaking person will be talking with a German person completely translated into English and vice versa.
This will be with the help of a microprocessor working in their telephone sets.
This computer will be able to translate these conversations between two people as fluently as a human being can, and in the voice of the person who is talking on the other side.
The concept of teaching will be different than it is today.
There will be no teacher in tomorrow’s world.
Each and every student will attend his/her classes in front of his or her own computer, in his/her own room.
The students will be able to ask any question from their teachers. And the teacher will answer them at the correct time.
There are many changes that will occur in our life and we will be using the computer in every part, and in every step of our life.
The technologies discussed in this article may require 10 to 30 decades or more before even being trailed.

Team@computer-and-printer-reviews.com thanks the author for this interesting article on the possible future of the computing world.
Will this be the future? Will computers become very clever? Will they challenge the human mind? Who knows, what is for certain is technology is changing and evolving fast, if we look at how far we have come from 50 years ago, I think it is safe to say anything is possible.
