Refurbished computers advice

Refurbished computers

Refurbished computers are computers which are made from used parts.

Don’t be put off by that they are used, modern computer components are usually manufactured to a very high precision, and will often out last their usefulness.

Useful life is much more then it used to be.

How much computer processing power do you need to word process or organise your e-mail?

The answer is very little.

You can even run modern operating systems such as Windows XP, although you may have to turn off some features to make the system more useable.

This however, makes it far more functional using a more modern operating system.

There are a vast array of what is available, some come as bare bone systems that do not come with a monitor.

This could be a good upgrade at a cheap price for replacing unusable hardware. The bare bone systems set up with no monitor are the most common, but refurbished computers can include laptops.

This can be very useful as laptop computers are not cheap to begin with, and are good to use in the home for those of you with limited space.

In my opinion some of the best offers are:

The one pictured above is an Intel Pentium 3 running at 733Mhz, 10 GIG hard drive and 64 RAM.

This is the best value I think, as you have a good collection of components that will run modern software well.

Also with Intel Processors they tend to run colder then AMD’s so they will last.

This baby above, geek or no geek, most people still want a powerful machine.

With enough power to run virtually any thing out there at the moment, 2400+ processor, 40 GIG hard drive. More then enough to meet most peoples needs.

With the amount of storage allowing you faster access to files. You will now back up but to your own hard drive which means, no rummaging through CD’s.

With it’s own CD writer you can back up large files quickly and easily. Check this computer out!
