Learn how to print faster and save cash
Print faster and save cash
You can make inkjet printers speed up by simply turning off the colour. This also saves you money, as you are wasting ink if you’re using the colour as well as the black cartridge.
By using both colour cartridges at the same for black documents, you are also slowing the printer down remarkably.
Print a colour picture set in grey scale mode to see what I mean.
You can normally set the printer to grey scale in the software provided with the printer; however, you can use this as a quick reference, which should work on most inkjet printers. Go to Start/settings/printers. Once you click on printers, right click on the printer icon and go to properties. There should be a tab what will allow you to change from colour to greyscale. It’s normally under colours, or colour management. When you need the colour again, just de select grey scale.
By following the above, you can save ink costs and also speed your printer up when printing normal documents. You can also use this method to print pictures in black and white, which again, will save money and time.
