Can you upgrade the computer memory?

This is important today when buying a computer.

You will want to know if there is easy access to your motherboard, and if there is room for extra memory to be added at a later date. As technology is always improving, memory upgrades become essential after a few years using your computer.

The latest software is always increasing its needs for more memory as time proceeds.

If I build or buy a computer, I always make sure there is plenty of room for expansion. Lets say your new computer has 256 DDR memory. You will want to ask if the computer has extra slots for more memory. Today, by most standards the answer will be yes. A few weeks ago I added a 512-memory slot to one of my computer systems. This was very easy, I removed my cover, the slots were easily visible and there was plenty of room to allow me to easily slot the memory in to the desired position. Back in 1997, I needed to upgrade a computer system, the system was so badly built that I had dismantle most of the computer just to slot the extra memory in to place.

As you can see from the above, this is an important question you need to ask.
