Maximize term explained

Like minimize, maximize is a term for the action for when a user clicks the maximize button (looks much like a bold, single box at the top right of a window).

When something is maximized, it will take up the whole area of the screen (except the taskbar).

This allows you to view something easily, such as a wide spreadsheet, large word processing document, or Internet page.
