The Hp LaserJet 4200 is a fast, cool looking monochrome printer, suitable for a large office from cost, speed and usage perspective. The control Panel makes managing the printer a breeze. The unit has a speed of 35PPM and a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi. This printer comes with 2 input trays with a standard capacity of 600 sheets. It also comes with 2 optional trays giving a total capacity of 2600 sheets. The custom paper size support ranges from 3.5"X5" to 8.5"X14". The unit supports a variety of standard paper sizes and media types. This LaserJet comes with a whopping 48MB memory as standard, expandable to 416MB to accommodate huge print queues of large, complex documents. The printer comes with an optional Duplexing unit, useful in large offices. Printer Drivers are available for Mac, Windows flavors from www.hp.com The driver comes with rich features for booklet, multipage, watermark printing and scaling. The printer has the secure printing feature. This feature allows the user to associate his print job with a pin, only when the pin is keyed at the printer, will the job get printed. The printer has a useful feature for large offices where the printer could be placed at a remote corner, or even another floor. The printer is above average for graphics and does print sharp edges.
