The Hp LaserJet 3300 is a multifunction peripheral and is a combination of printer, scanner, and copier. It is bulky on show. The control panel has a 2 line display and a couple of control buttons to operate upon. The printer is suited for small offices and has a monthly recommended usage of 10000 pages. People also use this unit in the home office.

The Monochrome laser printer has a speed of 15PPM and a resolution of 1200 X 1200 DPI. Scans via sheetfeed at 600 X 600 dpi optical and 9600 dpi enhanced. The input media capacity is 250 sheets.

It comes with 32MB RAM a standard, expandable to 96MB with USB1.1 and parallel port connectivity.

Manual duplex printing option exists via the printer driver which also comes with other features like booklet, multipage printing. The drivers are available for download from www.hp.com

This device will print in PCL or postscript emulation mode.

The graphics output is bit grainy but text output is good. Scanner comes with the option of scanning in color and then printing in black.
