HP LaserJet 1300 Printer

HP LaserJet 1300 is a cute, fast, high resolution Monochrome Printer suitable for office environment with printing capability of around 10,000 pages a month.

This device has a speed of 20PPM and a maximum resolution of 1200 * 1200 dpi.

The unit comes with 1 tray (250 sheets) as standard and an optional tray providing a maximum capacity of 500 sheets.

The printer comes with a USB and parallel port connectivity as standard with optional network connectivity at an additional price. It comes with 16MB memory upgradeable to 80MB.The Paper Size support is good.

The printer is suitable for printing texts and vector graphics. If you want to use the printer for printing images, you will be disappointed.

Manual Duplex option is available from the printer driver. The driver comes with support for the Booklet and multipage printing for effective paper usage and with other features like Watermark.

Printer Driver is available for MAC, Window and Linux flavors from www.hp.com

The EconoMode feature helps in effectively using the Print Cartridges.

The User Interface change of the printer driver from that of the old printers isn't appealing. The price is also way too high to invest on a monochrome printer. It’s not the best printer for your buck in all honesty. View our other LaserJet guides for better deals.
