The Hp DeskJet 6122 is another of Hp’s popular DeskJet series. Designed specifically for the small office or home, making this printer small in weight and dimensions. I have gone in to some depth of installing various printers within these sections.

Two important features of this DeskJet are the duplexer and the networking capabilities which facilities the use on several computers. The duplexer allows prints on both sides of 1 A4 piece of paper.

The speed of this printer is noted at 2o pages pm. I found it does around 11 pages per minute of full A4 sides, which is very impressive. You will need to replace the cartridges often if you are using the printer often. The drawbacks are obvious with this factor. The initial cost, will cost you far less than a colour LaserJet, however the price may add up due to the ink cartridges needing replaced more often.

This printer is designed mainly for small offices and people at home. In all honesty small office users would be better obtaining a cheap colour LaserJet due to the cost of consumables. I would still say this would meet the needs of any home user wishing to use a decent quality printer.
