The Hp DeskJet 2300 printer is mainly designed for the small office. This printer offers an alternative to the well-known LaserJet printer with cost saving principles. With the DeskJet 2300 being compatible to place on a network, it is fair to say this could be a competent printer to use instead of the LaserJet.

This is your general DeskJet printer with all the benefits of a Photo printer. It does offer good quality on photo prints, however I have come across better photo results from the various other photo printers.

There are three basic models in the HP DeskJet 2300 series, the 2300 2300n and 2300dtn. They are all designed to work effectively on an office or home network.

This printer is less demanding on consumables like ink cartridges. For the home or small office this printer is an excellent option. For larger offices, the LaserJet printer is still the better option due its high speed and quality. The LaserJet will always be a better option for large offices due to less ink use. For the average home user, this is a printer I would recommend.
