History of internet

The history of the Internet is quite interesting and short. The Internet was formed by military and university people that wanted to find an easy way to communicate with each other, which was supposed to be a highway of transferring information.

Their little struggle of yesterday became a giant of today’s world.

The militant people began to fear that small damage to their single computer can bring about huge damage to their data they started to share with many computers. In that sense the concept of networking came into play. The idea of one computer could easily communicate with other easily was born.

During this year software was introduced which is still working, this was TCP/IP Transmission Control Protocol and another is Internet Protocol.

The job of this software was to make the messages in shape of packets and easily transfer it anywhere.

The TCP does the packeting and resembling of the message and the IP part of the protocol handles the addressing, seeing to it that packets are routed across multiple computers.

They call the new connections as Arpanet, which stands for Advanced Research Agency Network.
