The geforce 5200 is geared towards a budget graphic card option for gamers and users of high-end software.

This may be a budget card, however it is the only DirectX 9 compatible GPUs in their class.

The 5200 models are engineered for compatibility with the latest gaming and multimedia software!!!

These cards will handle the latest games and multimedia packages. For gaming, the card lack performance. If you are really in to gaming and desire the best graphics, I wouldn’t recommend this card. For the average user performing a first time computer build, or simply buying a graphics card, this card is good addition for your home computer.

I have used this card before and put one in a computer I built for a friend. There have been no problems and it is playing the latest games in a good resolution well. Again this card is for users who want a computer to use and aren’t to fussed about the more technical details such as frame rates and so on.
