FPS term explained
FPS - frames per second
FPS is an acronym (or abbreviation) for the words “frames per second.”
This term is usually used in high-end 3D rendering in either modeling or gaming most commonly.
To say that you are getting “30 FPS” means that your screen is rendering 30 frames per second.
The higher FPS, the better, hence why frames per second is a usual benchmark for performance in games and other 3D rendering tasks.
