The Epson 1280 printer offers more than just your normal DeskJet printer. This printer provides excellent photo quality prints at a reasonable price.

A problem I have often come across with Hp printers is the border issue. This means a lot of the older printers do not print to the edge of the printer. This can result (depending on the print) in some bits of your copy being cut off. This is where this printer is excellent, by having a bleed function, which means it will print all the way to the edge of the paper on all of your photos or general print outs.

When you print on to specialized glossy photo paper, the results are almost a replicate of the original photo. If you are printing from a digital camera you can expect excellent quality. For those wishing to make the switch between normal cameras to digital, may be happy with the results, however this options does not come any cheaper to you. This is because when printing photos with inkjets, you are going to have to replace consumables, such as ink cartridges and paper.
