eMachines t2895 Review and guide

Model eMachines T2895

When it comes to cheap computer systems yet powerful, nothing beats eMachines. To prove it, you have to turn your sight to the T2895, another affordable PC that eMachines has come out with.

The T2895 packs an Intel Celeron 2.8GHz processor, coupled with a whopping 512MB DDR Ram.

This is a blazing fast computer system that is not only capable of doing simple task such as word processing, but it is also able to cope with the multimedia-intensive task like editing videos and playing games.

DVD drive and CD burner come separately in this model. This bundle is so convenient, that you can insert a blank CD into the burner, and the master CD into the DVD drive and duplicate it directly. Unlike any other combo drive that requires you to store the files into the hard drive first and next replacing the master CD with a blank CD. No hassle!

Slide over the multimedia port cover which is in the front of its casing, you can find 2 USB ports, audio out jack and microphone jack, which are easy accessible.

It is bundled with a huge 120GB hard drive, however its rotation speed is just 5400rpm. Since computers these days come with at least a 7200rpm hard drive and even with 8MB buffer memory, this eMachines T2895’s hard drive is rather slow in speed.

However, the T2895 still offers many irresistible features that fit the needs of all small office home users (SOHO). It’s worth it for those who are looking for a computer with a great balance of both reliability and productivity.
