Default term explained - pre-defined
Default is a word that basically means “standard” or “pre-defined.”
For instance, if something has the default setting of “15”, which means it will automatically be set to “15” without you having to set it first.
You can change that setting of course, but “15” is the standard in that case, or the pre-defined value.
