I am after a new laptop so I will be looking in to Compaq laptops my self due to the excellent warranty deals they offer. Notebooks are a little more complicated to fix if they go wrong than the desktop. This is why I think a warranty is important if you are purchasing a laptop. I normally go for a 5-year warranty so I know I am going to get long lasting time from my one off price for the laptop I want to buy. Compaq computers offer high quality products and have been known to meet everyone’s budget. Remember to decide what you will be using your computer for, this makes it easier deciding on what you will need and what you wont. For simple projects, you wont need a top of the range computer, however you still will want a fast processor and a large memory threshold for fast internet use and speedy essays. Gamers will want the best of everything and Compaq can also offer that. For the business user you may want to look in to a medium specification, as you may need to use powerful software packages what can take up lots of computer resources.
