AVI term explained

AVI - Audio Video Interleaved

AVI is a type of file what can be downloaded and used on your computer. It is a multimedia video/audio file and is normally used for movies.

AVI has become popular across the Internet for large downloads of movies.

You can download a large file in AVI format with reasonable quality, in a relatively short period of time with a fast Internet connection.

The quality has not always been the best, however now, people are encoding in to divx and other formats still using the AVI format. This can result in an excellent quality AVI file.
