Useful software guide

Now that we have had a brief look at the operating systems your choice can now make some sense to you. As well as the operating systems, you need to think about constructive software that will help you produce documents organise emails etc.

Most new pre-built computer systems will come bundled with a suite of software applications, such as Microsoft office or Microsoft works. These types of applications contain all the kinds of software you would need to run a small business.

Microsoft office comes with applications like word, out look for email management. I use out look to answer emails on a daily basis it is an excellent tool in my opinion. You get software for presentations and a program that allows you to manage spreadsheets and databases. There is near enough everything included here that a small business would need.

For home computer users this bundle will serve you well for any kind of work such as a specific project or an assignment you have planned.

As well as these types of suites you will probably want other software as well. There are many software applications available that you will find out during your computer use. You may want to watch DVDs so you would need some kind of DVD software. Because this is a basic guide to buying a computer, I wont get in to software here, I will now move on and discuss the hardware of your computer.
