Tft monitors guide
TFT monitors are becoming more and more popular as prices drop.
When they were first relased the prices were to high for the average computer user. The good news is that prices are now dropping on these monitors and you can get a 15-inch tft for relatively cheap.
I was pricing some of the large screen monitors a few weeks back and noticed that the 21 inch screens have came down in price a lot. These monitors offer supreme viewing saving so much space. They are still quite costly so it depends on your financial situation and whether you really need to invest in a monitor of this type.
The main advantage of these monitors is the fact they take so little space. The crt monitor has a large back to the actual screen, this makes the monitor heavy and large. Crt monitors can take up whole desk spaces. This is where tft monitors are brilliant. Not only do they utilize every inch of the viewable screen area. They save you so much space and are so light. They are the best monitors to have but they will cost you a lot more than crt monitors because of the benefits they offer. You often find them in big companies to save space.
Gamers
I have never really reccomended Tft screens for hardcore gamers. I used to do a lot of gaming my self, however, now I really dont have the time. I still say Crt are best for games, however, tft screens are improving rapidly. The Iilyama prolite monitors are impressive in many aspects. I was recently watching Doom 3 on a friends TFT. This tft had a response time of 12ms, and it was impressive to be honest. Dont buy anything above 16ms if you are a serious gamer. You will probably be dissapointed if you do.
