Sony vaio0 v100g review

MODEL: Sony vaio0 v100g

When it comes to multimedia appliances, nothing beats the giant Sony. Say hello to the Sony v100G!

Sony Vaio comes with most standard features as found on most multimedia home computers.

  • Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz processor
  • 512MB Ram
  • 80GB hard drive
  • And a combo drive that plays DVDs and burns CDs. It is even equipped with a PC Card Type II expansion slot, wireless mouse and keyboard!

The key feature of this computer is that you can watch your favorite TV shows with its 15” LCD monitor, by connecting the VHF/UHF cable to its port found at the side of the monitor. Powered by Giga Pocket MPEG2 Realtime Encoder Board with a TV Tuner, you can record any TV programs while you are watching another channel, or surfing the Internet. Its remote control can turn the computer to a TV, DVD player or mini hi-fi. Your fingers control it all.

I would prefer it if the Sony vaio0 v100g came with at least a 17” LCD monitor rather than a 15” one. Although you can always add a Wi-Fi PC Card to access Wi-Fi, however, it is better if it is built-in.

You can do most things, if not all, with it, such as watching live television, editing home videos, playing video games, listening to your favorite tunes and much more. Sony Vaio v100G is truly a great all-in-one PC for home users.
