The Panasonic Toughbook 50 is improved and refined with greater features and more sturdy than its predecessors. It is not an ordinary notebook for working on a clean zone. Instead, it is designed to work in tough condition such as for military work. That’s why this rock-solid Toughbook, as how it is named, is tough!

Unlike other notebooks found in the market, this baby runs on Windows 2000 Professional to meet the heaviest and most complicated task. It uses Intel Centrino 1.6GHz processor as its core and a huge 512MB of DDR266 (PC2100) memory.

Among these great features, you also get a CD-RW / DVD-ROM Combo Drive and a 60GB hard drive, though I prefer a DVD burner for this type of military-grade notebook.

The integrated Intel PRO Wireless 2200 supports both 802.11b/g wireless networks. It also comes with modem and LAN connector.

What’s worth mentioning is its overall physical design. The 15” UXGA display is housed with a magnesium alloy case that prevents damage to the screen. You won’t need to worry anymore if you always bang your notebook around. Likewise, the hard drive is mounted in vibration damping material, thus reducing downtime.

With this well-crafted notebook, it gives no excuse not to own it, if you are a professional who is always on the go. Designed to meet the toughest condition, it is most reliable and durable.
