Motherboard – Main board

The motherboard is the board in a personal computer. All of the components, such as video cards, and sound cards, connect to this main board.

There are different motherboards available, and your choice will come down to what processor you intend to use.

For example if you want an Athlon processor, you will need a motherboard that will support this type of processor.
