The Microtek ScanMaker V6UPL Scanner provides scanning at a low-cost. For only $49.99, you get 600 x 1200 dpi legal-size scanner, with enhanced resolution up to 9600 x 9600 dpi, at 42-bit color. The V6UPL also has the great ability to optimizing 42-bit color to 32-bit color, keeping your images rich and full of color.
It also provides flexibility, allowing you use the standard USB or parallel port; whichever is more convenient for you. Of course, it comes bundled with its LightLid 35 transparency adapter, allowing you to scan slides, film, or other transparencies quickly and easily. Another great add-on is the ADF-600EL, the auto-document feeder. This allows you to scan multiple documents consecutively, without having to manually swap them in and out.
