LCD – Liquid crystal display

LCD defines a type of monitor that is used in pdas and notebooks. You will now find LCD monitors using TFT to maximise picture sharpness and quality. New laptops come with this TFT built in to the LCD screen.

I recently purchased a flat screen monitor, and I have to say it is excellent.

The space I am now saving on my desk is crucial for me. Laptop displays also look impressive with TFT screens.

Normal LCD screens will not look as good quality wise, however they still do an effective job at displaying a good picture on a flat screen.
