Hp 5500 printer review This is another addition to Hp’s long stream of inkjet DeskJet printers. Is this one any good? For the price of this printer, printing qualities on colour documents and photo printing are very good. I found this printer to be quite slow as in comparison to other DeskJet’s, so this may be an issue for you. The software was upgraded for the release of this printer and the install on a new working computer went very well. I have never been a great fan of Hp software because I have seen so many problems on older computers when the software is integrated. The good news is that Hp have addressed a lot of bugs and made the software very user friendly and easy to install. One of the aspects I was really impressed with was the help section. Every troubleshooting problem was listed and lots of answers to simple questions were included. This can be very valuable to some people. DeskJet’s in the inkjet series can be very expensive to run and unfortunately this printer is no exception. This printer uses a lot of ink and fast speeds. Again LaserJet’s will always be a better option for ink saving principles in the long run. For your normal family printer, this printer is ideal. LaserJet printers are predominantly used in large offices. If this were going to be used on a weekly basis, then I would recommend this printer mainly because of the low cost price. Specifications
Conclusion Designed as a design Jet printer focusing on colour quality and photo printing. The verdict? For a low cost price this printer is quite good. If you’re looking for excellent quality and excellent speed look elsewhere.
