Model HPCompaq S5010NX Sometimes when we choose a computer, the first thing that we should consider is what we want to do with the PC, rather than hunting all the latest hardware and configuration. As long as a computer is able to perform all the tasks you have in mind that should be the one that you go for. Talking about a basic desktop computer that is good enough for normal and basic routine tasks, the one that you should consider is the low-cost S5010NX from HP/Compaq. S5010NX is given the Intel Celeron 2.5GHz processor as its main processing power unit. However, only 128MB of DDR memory is found in the system. In my humble opinion, I would go for at least 256MB Ram for smooth –running of the computer. But, like any other desktop PC, you can always have a choice of upgrading it. Most of the side features such as graphics and audio supports are integrated into the motherboard. As for data storage, a 40GB is supplied is enough for simple daily use, and a CD-RW drive that can read and write CDs. Integrated graphics are not as good as having a separate graphics card, but again this is fine for the average user. Gamers, you can browse our other reviews for more powerful systems. I would not say this is a powerful computer, but it’s just worth a grab considering that someone may use it for basic purposes. The S5010NX is still dependable and reliable, and definitely can be considered as your next PC.
