HP NC8000 review

Model

HP NC8000

The HP NC8000 is an awesome notebook for business use. It’s designed to meet the needs of professionals by offering them top-notch technologies.

Under the house of NC8000, you get an Intel Pentium-M 1.6GHz processor. The Pentium-M processor is one of the newest components that helps to extend the battery life of a notebook. Take note that this is not a Centrino processor, thus it doesn’t offer WiFi capability, but you can always attach a wireless PC card in one of its two PC Card Type II slots.

Powered with a 512MB of DDR333 (PC2700) memory, NC8000 roars its way to Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition. It’s simply one of the fastest business class notebooks I have ever seen, and not even a delay is found while performing any level of task.

Its storage potential is almost infinite because even if you are running out of room for another large file in its 40GB hard drive, you can burn as many CDs as you want to serve as external storage with its CD-RW / DVD-ROM Combo Drive.

Like other notebooks, you get lots of integrated features like LAN and modem support, ATI Mobility RADEON 9600 with 64MB of shared-memory and an infrared port.

The 15-inch notebook may be thick measuring at 1.6” for its height, but it’s no doubt a powerful horse for carrying out endless assignments. While I find upgrading its memory capacity is a bit of a hassle since the memory slot is located underneath the notebook, other than that there’s no complaint whatsoever.

Looking at all these astonishing great features, why not let HP NC8000 lead your business to a higher level?
