Email - Electronic Mail

Email is like posting mail all over the world using computers and the Internet to send the mail.

Emails are saved on the server of the local computer, therefore you don’t always need to be connected to the internet to read your email, however you will need to connect to read new messages.

You can then disconnect and read them, as the messages save to the server.

This is different for online email you need to be connected to the Internet to use this service all of the time but you can still save email to your computer using these email providers.
