If you have films in divx format, you can store up to 5 movies on one single CD at near DVD quality if you the rip the DVD correctly. DVD writers often come in different speeds. An example of the DVD writer I am purchasing is 4X-4X-12X, this means it will burn (record) at 4 speed, re write (re record) at 4 speed and read at 12 speed.
