DDR memory - Double Data Rate memory

This memory is the technical advance of the famous SDRAM, which was widely used a few years ago. DDR memory can transfer data at twice the speed of normal SDRAM memory, thus resulting in improved performance and faster memory access.

DDR memory comes in batches ranging from 256 and upwards. It is not uncommon for users to have over 1000 megabyte of DDR memory in their computer systems.

DDR memory is easy to install, and is readily available to buy all over the world.
