Cookies play a large part on the Internet today. Cookies are small text files that are placed in a folder on your computer by websites for different reasons. For example I am a member of a huge movie network. They store a cookie on my computer, which remembers my details so I don’t have to keep logging in each time. Other sites can use then for remembering what you have purchased, giving previous details in your shopping basket. You can disable cookies in your browser options, however cookies generally don’t do much harm, and can often be helpful for your surfing.
