Computer sales people guide

If you decide not to buy your computer online, and would feel more comfortable buying from retail, then you need to think of what to ask the computer sales people.

Before you walk in to a store, list the types of hardware you would like in your system.

Read some of my site to get up to date on some of the computer terminology. This way they will know you have some prior knowledge.

If you feel the sales person is pressuring you, find another sales person, or go to another shop. Remember the sales person has a certain amount of targets to meet, so they will likely try hard to get the sale if you show some interest.

If you are a first time buyer, be sure to shop around, and don’t buy the first thing you see. Do some comparison, take your time and make sure you get the deal for your money. If you need more time simply walk out and do some more research.

Buying a computer does not have to be stressful if you take a little time to learn the basics and decide exactly what you want. What I would is compare prices to online prices, if the store doesn’t come close, then look elsewhere. Why get ripped off for the sake of a few hours of research.
