Model HP Compaq S5100NX

The HP Compaq S5100NX is simple enough for anyone who doesn’t need any high power. Powered by an Intel Celeron 2.6GHz processor, its multitasking capability is not a problem at all. This cool, durable metal housing tower sports black and silver colors on its unit. It also offers easy access of 2 USB ports at the front of its casing.

One notable difference between other branded computers, is that it comes with two optical drives rather than one. The 16X DVD drive and CD burner are built-in separately. Therefore, you can make direct CD duplication at once, without having to save the data into the hard drive before burning a CD.

The 256MB DDR Ram that is installed in the S5100NX is fast enough to run the Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition smoothly, which by default, only requires 128MB physical Ram. However, the total memory capacity that this computer supports is only 1GB on its two memory slots. Which means, to achieve full memory, you need two 512MB Ram modules. This is rather limited for a normal computer, as others support up to 1GB Ram per memory slot.
