Canon Bubble Jet i990 review
Canon Bubble Jet i990 review
Canon has been lagging behind lately in the race for domination of the printer market, however that does not mean their products offer any less in terms of quality.
Lets see what this Canon i990 has to offer. Designed for the photo enthusiast, although the printer can print normal documents fine. The feeder works well and I have not come across any paper jams yet.
The paper tray offers the use of 6 x 4 inch paper, and this has worked, but not the way I hoped on print tests. After gauging the paper in and sliding the thing all over the place, I finally got what appeared to be a print on this size of paper.
Printer cartridges are of low cost when compared with other inkjets, however this printer uses seven print cartridges. You can change each one whenever you need to.
I would rather have 2 cartridges, however Canon claims this will give improved quality on photo printing.
With a USB connection and easy to use software, nothing complicated here, and you should be up and running in no time.
Conclusion
Designed for the photo enthusiast as with most in this series, this printer will suit some one taking photos often. The black and white prints also work well.
